The City of North Tonawanda in conjunction with the City of Tonawanda will be co-hosting the 4th of July fireworks on the Renaissance Bridge (Corner of Webster Street and Sweeney Street) at dusk on Friday July 4, 2025.In addition to the fireworks, downtown North Tonawanda along Webster Street will be turned into a fantastic family affair. Webster Street will be closed from Goundry to Sweeney Street and family fun events will be taking place as part of the Summer Blast-Off festivities. The games and activities will take place from 6pm-9pm along Webster Street, including: Facepainting Balloon Artist Niagara Climbing Center's Portable Rock Wall Inflatable Obstacle Course from Yards of Fun Free hot dogs from the NTFD (kids 18 and younger) Information tables Meet & Greet stations with the NTPD Visit on the Fire truck with NTFD Live music from ARC (7:30-8:30pm) Sweet Treats @ Sprinkles Games & Activities from the NT Parks & Rec Dept Prize stations and giveways from CHANT (Community Health Alliance of NT) On the Tonawanda Side under the Canal Street Pavilion, the 198th Army Band will be playing live music from 6:30-9:30pm.
