The Erie Canal Bike Path Extension project is in it's final stages of implementation. This is our last public meeting before construction begins in the spring/summer of 2024. Join us at 500 Wheatfield Street (commonly known as the DMV Building) on Wednesday December 6 at 6pm and take a look at the full scope of the project including a presentation of detailed renderings which incorporate remediation and altercations based on resident and professional feedback stemming from previous public engagement meetings. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, and get answers regarding project expectations, scope of timeline, etc. This project aims to connect the bike path at Sweeney Street from Mayor's Park all the way down Sweeney to the Botanical Gardens and is funded primarily through DASNY (Dormatory Authority of the State of New York) grant funds.
