Update: 2/13/23 Rink Status: CLOSED FOR SEASONUnseasonable warm weather combined with a heavy winstorm resulted in damage to the rink liner. The rink is closed for the season. With the fluctuations in temperature over the past few months, we haven't seen consistent enough temperatures to support our ice rink. On February 1, we are excited to announce the rink is finally ready for skaters. The new location of the rink is at Deerwood Golf Course parking lot, located at 1818 Sweeney Street. The location supports a larger rink, increased parking access and better lighting. The rink is open 9am-10pm daily. Participants are asked to follow the on-site signage for status of the rink. Any damage or inconsistencies with the ice may result in the rink being closed for maintenance. In such cases the on-site signage will indicate the rink as closed. Participants are asked to SHARE the ice. From hockey players to free skaters, the rink is meant for all. Hockey players are welcome to utilize the nets left on site for use; however when free skaters are on the ice, hockey should remain on only half the ice; allowing free access for other skaters on the other half.
