The North Tonawanda Youth Center is a branch of the North Tonawanda Department of Youth, Recreation & Parks Department.
Located at 383 Vandervoort St, the Youth Center welcomes all youth in grades K-12 who live in the North Tonawanda School District to participate in programming.
There is no fee to participate or attend; however, all participants must have a parent consent form completed and signed by a legal parent or guardian to participate in any activity. This can be done when you register your child for a Youth Center Membership via this website. Memberships are good for 1 year. (October - May)
All staff members are CPR/AED and First Aid certified. Each room within The REC is monitored at all times by these staff members.
Membership to The REC is free and is available to North Tonawanda Residents only.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Every day, youth can participate in what we consider "open" programming, which refers to activities that are open for participation at any time on any day.
These programs include:
- Daily arts & crafts
- Air hockey, billiards, foosball, ping pong
- Video games (PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Wii,
- Open gym (Various games and activities are organized by staff members daily)
- Cable TV (Sabres games, TV shows, movies, etc)
- Computer lab (Internet, music, homework, etc)
- Tutoring
