FAMILY CAMP OUT
Friday, August 8 - Saturday, August 9

  • NT Residents only
  • $10 per campsite
  • 5 people per site
  • An adult must be present 
Gather your family and pack up your tent. It's time to enjoy a night in the park.

It’s the perfect opportunity to grab the kids and end the summer with a safe and fun family event. Bring your tent and sleeping bags and join us at Pinewoods Park for a family camp out with a twist!

Book early as sites fill up quickly and you won't want to miss this unique summer, camping experience.

CAMP OUT ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

Friday, August 8

6:00pm-7:00pm
Family Check In & Camp Set Up

NEW FOR 2025
We will be having a tent decorating contest. Choose whatever theme you like, plan ahead with the family, and have fun with it. The winning campsite will get a large pizza to enjoy

6:00pm-9:30pm
Game Zone - Cornhole, Kan Jam, Giant Checkers, Giant Connect 4, Nature Tic Tac Toe, Volleyball

6:30pm-8:00pm
Nature Scavenger Hunt
Families will work together to hunt through the park for specific items listed on their nature checklist. Throughout their hunt, they may also face a riddle or 2 to help them find certain items. 

7:00pm - 9:30pm
Guided Activities - choose 1 or all to explore and have fun with.
  • Ice Cream in a bag - you can make your s'mores over the campfire, OR you can enjoy your very own, homemade, S'more ice cream in a bag. 
  • Building a campfire – Learn the basics of how to make a foolproof campfire that will start every time. We’ll even show you how to start a fire without matches
  • Camp Fire Cooking- S’Mores and spider dogs
  • JENGA Tournament – and other team-oriented games

9:30 PM-11:00 PM
Movie on Big Screen.

11:00 PM-6:30 AM
Quiet Time “Lights Out”

Saturday, August 9

6:30 AM-8:30 AM
Breakfast in the Pavilion (Pastries, coffee, juice)

9:00 AM 
Clean up campsite; pack up and exit park
