The Babysitting course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsibly for children and infants. Be prepared to become one of the most capable, trusted, and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be safe, professional, and reliable. Each student will receive an American Red Cross handbook to take all of their knowledge with them.
Course Requirements & Info.
- 6 hours all in-person class
- Intended for ages 11-15 years
- Participants will be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED for children and infants
- 2-year certification
Classes will take place at The REC and will consist of 2 classes of 3 hours each. Snack will be provided. Participants should bring a water bottle or the beverage of their choice. The Snack Shack at The REC will be open for additional snack needs.
